Ready, Steady and almost Go.
A week today - 6th Feb, I should be in Colombo, Sri Lanka. I have Visas for Sri Lanka and India. All Flights, Trains, Coaches(Buses), and Hotels are booked and confirmed. I have downloaded the Malayalam & Kannada alphabet and Essential Words and Phrases. I have today received 3 month supply of my daily medications from my GP. The primary purpose of these trips is to visit some of the Ancient Hindu Civilisation across Asia, notably the Vijayanagar Empire in Hampi Karnataka India, the My Son Sanctuary near Da Nang Vietnam, and the Dieng Plateau & Gedong Songo near Semarang Indonesia. In addition, I hope to visit in India, the birthplace of 9th-century philosopher Adi Shankara in Kalady, Kerala, and Sri Sringeri Sharada Peetham , Karnataka, which is one of the four centers of learning and Monastery that Adi Shankara established during his short but amazing life.
